Simple Beauty Tips You Should Know

Published:

We all know that true beauty is from the inside, however, that does not mean you shouldn’t pamper the outside of your body just a little bit! Many people want to enhance what they already have naturally. Continue reading to learn some excellent tips on how to maximize your natural beauty so that you can shine on the inside and out.

As you get older, exfoliation becomes more and more important to your skin. Use a glycolic acid-rich cream, facial scrub, or even a retinoid gel to slough off the top layer pf dead skin cells and to reveal the fresh, radiant new skin cells beneath. This can be done three to four times per week for the best effect.

You can use dark colored mascara to open up your eyes and help to draw attention to the eyes. Concentrate on the edges of your eyes by using mascara wands to open up masses of makeup that have clumped together.

Keep wool pads that have been soaked in water, in your fridge. You can also keep teabags or cucumbers in your fridge. This is great if you have puffy eyes and can relieve them. Using this on your eyes will make you look refreshed and will last all day.

Exfoliate your face and neck at least 2 times a week. Exfoliating helps remove dead skin cells and bring new skin cells to the surface. This will make you look healthy and refreshed when you do this, but you should avoid doing it too much because it can irritate your face.

To deal with greasy or oily hair, shampoo every other day and just rinse with water on the other days. Sometimes people with oily hair try to combat the problem by over using shampoo. This removes to much oil from hair, which makes the sebaceous glands overcompensate to replace it.

Mix your foundation with a moisturizer, as it will stretch the life of your foundation. Also, with the foundation being slightly watered down, it will seem a lot less heavy. The added benefit is that you will now have sun protection in your foundation too if you used an SPF moisturizer.

Use a deep conditioner at least once a week for extra soft and healthy hair. Pick one day of the week to take a bath and read a magazine or listen to music while the deep conditioner soaks into your hair before rinsing. Many hair product lines include a matching deep conditioner.

Keep rosewater in your beauty supply kit. Rosewater is a remedy with roots in antiquity. Rosewater has many uses, from soothing sunburn to helping cure allergic rashes. It is the best toner you could use on your own skin. Apply daily after cleaning to tighten skin’s appearance and remove excess oil.

Your beauty may be improved by drinking milk each day. Studies have demonstrated that daily milk consumption benefits your body greatly, especially your bones and skin. Milk is full of calcium and protein, which are great for your body. It can also help you retain a lower weight. Simply put, milk assists in keeping your body strong and beautiful.

To make your eyelashes look thicker, dust them with a coat of loose powder before applying your mascara. Use a small brush to apply a thin layer of translucent powder to your eyelashes, taking care not to get the powder in your eyes. Follow up with a coat of your favorite mascara over the top of the powder.

Exfoliating your body prior to applying tanning lotion or spending time in a tanning bed will extend the life of your tan! Since skin sheds, it’s best to do as much of it as possible before getting that great tan so you can keep the glorious glow even longer! Any natural exfoliant applied a day or two before tanning will do!

To open up your pores and have any blemishes removed, steaming is a wonderful option. Put your face over a bowl of steaming hot water with a dry towel placed on you head. Do this as long as you can being careful not to burn yourself. When you have had enough splash your face with cold water to close the pores and make your skin more firm.

To hide purplish under-eye circles, try a yellow concealer. The yellow helps to cancel out the purple, leaving a smooth palette for applying your foundation. A thin layer of creamy yellow concealer also makes a great primer layer for your eyeshadow, because it minimizes the appearance of capillaries and helps the shadow stick.

If you get over-glow from club dancing, try using cheap toilet paper to get rid of it. The rougher and coarser paper makes a fantastic blotter for your oily skin. You can refresh your look by gently blotting all the oil from your face!

Want brighter eyes? Use eye drops. You won’t look as tired. The redness will be gone from your eyes, making you look more vibrant and refreshed. Keep a bottle of eye drops with you inside your purse and use them as directed.

Wearing heavy foundation or powdery makeup is not a good look for faces over 40. It accentuates the drier character of the skin. If your face is 40 or older it’s better to use a lighter touch. If your skin is fairly even-colored you may be able to skip foundation entirely. Foundations should be very light in weight.

So, if you want to improve the outside, that is understandable–most people do! Focus on your strengths instead of trying to conceal your flaws. These tips have shown you how to do this. By applying the advice above, your beauty will have a chance to shine through.
